If the average price for the OEM 56A cartridge is 22 euro, you should be able to sell the remanufactured cartridge to your resellers for around 9 euro. Yes you can not pay brokers 6 euro for a core. You must start a collection program and bring them to your remanufacturing facility for less than 3 euro. There is no longer any room in the marketplace for the cartridge broker. The major and mid-sized retailers are driving down the cost they will pay remanufacturers any making a larger profit on the remanufactured cartridge than on a new OEM. Remanufacturers must start or enlarge their collection programs to address the lower prices being offered by the resellers. The small remanufacturer who sells directly to end users and local resellers can still afford to pay the high price for cores. But at 6 euro/core you should get 11 euro minimum, for your packaged end product.
