New HP pricing policy?
 Author: Murphy December 30, 2003 at 00:09:43
    Dear Friends,

all you know the new high quality HP cartridges (HP c6656,
c6657 and HP 27 and 28), them are easy to remanufacture,
but them are the sign of a new strategy introduced on the
market by HP: the low cost of the OEM! In Europe you can
find a OEM C6656A in the supermarket at about 22,00 euro,
lowest that a OEM Epson! What wants to do HP with this
pricing?? They wish to take all the market (low price
printers and low price cartridges) owned by Epson? They
wish to put Us out of the market?? (If an OEM costs 22
euros, a remanufactured will costs at least 13 euros, if
you go to buy empties, you can see that a virgin Hp c6656A
is rated 6 dollars, you can simply realize that there
aren't business spaces for your resellers), a my reseller
sayd to me that he has started to buy OEM HP c6656A to
13,50 euros each one from HP, if I want to sell my
remanufactured HP C6656A I MUST sell them to 6,00 euro to
my reseller, but how can I do if I buy the empty to 6
dollars?? It's true that with this HP policy (low and
competitive cost on printers and consumables) there will be
an invasion of these new cartridges, maybe the empty market
can adjust the empty price? Now, with this pricing on the
empties I can say that we're out of market!
