	Well actually i think you can, just push the plugs deep in the sponge with a little angle so it wont block filling path. and you could fit more than 3 or 4 plugs personally i think everything is for a reason, you have to know that the sponge inside the cartridge is half empty and half full to control pressure and flow of ink inside the cartridge . the plugs has a very tiny hole which i think helps a little bit in controling the flow as well and prevent excess ink evaporation if you are filling more than the regular amount. beside it looks better MAX
