As far I can see, following your problem description, it
looks like a defective cardridge. I've seen this problem
before. Mostly with recycled cardridges (pelikan etc.). You
can try to CAREFULLY, clean the contacts on the printhead
assembly (where you click the cardridge in). If this
doesn't work, stop spending time to keep trying and take
another cardridge.
