    I think you are better off using the Lex20 and Lex90 combo for photographs. However, the black in the Lex90 is not the same black as in the Lex70 cartridge. So, if you are printing text or a lot of dark pictures, stay with the Lex20 and Lex70 combination.
If your printer does not recognize your Lex20, try cleaning the contacts on the cartridge with an erasor and the printer contacts with 92+ alcohol. If that doesn't do it, chances are your cartridge is bad.
The Lex70 is rated at 600 pages. The photo cartridge is not rated for text.
