    If you were looking at a bubble-jet type of printhead, where the ink is boiled in the nozzle & then spit out on the page, that could be a possibility, but the Epsons use piezo-Electric printheads, they operate completely differently. The crystal flexes depending on the polarity of the current & spits the droplet of ink out that way.
