Has anyone taken resistance checks across the gold contacts on the HP print cartridges as I've done? Using an analog ohmmeter I've taken resistance measurements and can confirm that heater(s) are shorted and thus don't refill the cartridge.
The HP 6615 has 52 gold contacts, about 15 are common to each other and the other contacts have known values which I believe the HP 842C printer checks. If they fall out of parameter the printer alarms "Print Head Failure".
