It seems that it begins to be a rummor about 56 type cartridges. It is said that some printers burn a "jumper" inside the cartridge printhead circuit. This, -it is said - that renders these cartridges useless for some printers. I don't know if it's true. In my opinion I don't think there is something similar. I suspect most the bad contact problems, than the above rummor. Till now, I never have seen something similar. I don't know the language to translate it, but an automatic translator gave: "...has its proven effectiveness, solving the problem of bought cartridges burnt". Another company that distributes the above machine states: "This is a simple circuit tester with a built in program that will boot or reset this counter bringing the cartridge back to life that it "erases" the burned jumper". > The only way I could think was to use a couple different model printers that use the same cartridges. That could be expensive. > > There are some companies that market circuit testers, I > don't recall their names, someone from Turkey, & someone > Like R-Jet-Tec or CBR-SME orFAES, I really can't remember, > Google might help. > > Try googling HP 56 circuit tester, your will get a bunch of > results. > > John |
