    Hello Ernie and all participants,
First of all, black pigment ink cartridges are diffucult because of the nature of ink. To do good work on clogged pigment cartridges you need to dissasemble the cartridge, clean it *thoroughly* with suitable cleaning solution, and replace or clean/dry the sponge as well.

Of course the above method is *labor consuming*.

I know that Stroud forum is not for advertisments, that's
why I sent a "unassuming" post as a reply. Many people use
and suggest ammonia solution as a good cleaning solution (I
never judge it how good it is, I've never tried thorougly
because of bad smell). Another source for good cleaning
solution is here
http://inkjet.myservice.gr/inkjet/newtech/fluid/. The fluid
is made from me, but the commercial trade is another
person's resposnibility.
