I'm not sure I explained the situation correctly. I do understand that cartridge just stop working sometimes. What I don't understand is about them being chipped. The first time we had a problem with these cartridges was about a month ago. We refilled and tested them they looked great. Our customer took them home and the printer said low ink (which was expected), but the printer would not allow her to print because of it. No way to set it as a new cartridge. She brought them back to us and we installed into our printer again, and again they printed fine. We assumed it was because the cartridges had never been in our printer before. Therefore the printer could not have remembered the serial number like it did in our customers printer. Maybe I didn't understand what you had posted but what I thought you were saying was that the cartridge the printer had recognized as empty had never been in your printer. I guess my point in all of this is why did our printer not view the cartridges as empty also. If it's remembered in the cartridge's chip? I guess it could just be that our print was a low end printer? If you have any other thoughts or explainations for me please let me know.
Thanks, Melinda
